Updated: Wed Jan 16, 2008 1:09 PM MST Regional Race Recap       More photos and results Video Courtesy of Dylan Dethier Gunstock 10km Freestyle - Gunstock, NH Results Stowe Nordic Outing Club Mini-Marathon Stowe Nordic Outing Club hosted 94 skiers at their annual BKL Mini-Marathon Tour on Saturday, January 12th. The morning was partly sunny and 34 degrees, but after a day of rain, the trails were way fast and the start had to be delayed slightly. Stowe Mountain Resort, host venue, and Trapp Touring Center both did a yeoman's job to groom a safe and fun course for the kids and their families. The 15K skiers did two loops of a figure 8 course centered around the Party Foodstop with music, balloons, food and the famous blueberry soup. 25K skiers climbed up to connect with the Trapp trail system and were greeted with a Snackstop at the top. The Stowe High School ski team were on course serving at the food stations. Other SNOC volunteers helped out at registration and at the finish served the chili and gave out the commemorative "woods". Colorado Snow Mountain Ranch Classic It was a great classic ski day at Snow Mountain ... It was a nice, blue extra day and 134 skiers showed up at Snow Mountain Ranch to ski the new 7.5km course (some once, some twice), the wee ones duked it out on a two kilometer course. Michael Brothers and Nathan Schultz pushed each other the whole 15k, Michael came in first with Nathan not too far behind, third in the men's race was Jon Miller. Sarah Konrad won the women's 15k ahead of Jennifer Wygant and Tina Gini Larter, all three ladies finished very respectable top 20 overall. Levin Zars, Rich Jortberg and Becca Phorsness were the first three overall finishers of the 7.5km race.
