Europa Cup: Taz Mannix Skis to Victory!

Taz Mannix (APUNSC/US Ski Team) was victorious a 15km skate mass start Europa Cup race Sunday Feb 18 in Planica, Slovenia. This is Taz's first Europa Cup win. Second place was Coraline Hugue (FRA), and third place was Marian Piller (ITA).

Morgan Aritola (US Ski Team/Sun Valley) placed 20th.

The men's 30km skate mass start was won by Marco Fiorentini (ITA), second Benjamin Seifert (GER), and third David Hofer (ITA). No US racers started the 30 km race.

The US Continental Cup team and select members of the recently named U23 World Champ team are in the middle a one-month tour of Europa Cup races.

The Continental Cup team is coached/directed by Matt Whitcomb and Pat Casey.
